this is us // September 2014

I probably sound like a broken record, but I love this stage of life. Sometimes I think about the days when I don’t have to watch our bank account quite so closely….but other than that life is perfect. It may be simple…but this is who we are in September 2014.

We’ve been married for: 4 months

T: just started his 3rd year in the business program at TRU and is working part time for his dad as well

C: working on getting her BC teaching license and is starting up a private tutoring business

We live in a: rented basement suite that finally looks like our own 🙂

We love to eat: ice cream/ frozen yogurt….ok this is mostly my fault, but I firmly believe that warm weather and ice cream belong together. It’s just a fact of life…

We’re excited for: our first holiday season as a married couple! Although we’re not excited about the process of picking which day to spend with which family for the first time…

On weekends we: Tanner studies, I catch up on lesson plans, and we usually try to spend some time outside while the weather is still permitting.

We are: pretty obnoxiously in love. Is it sad that each morning is still a struggle to say goodbye? The other day we went from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm without seeing each other and we texted each other “I miss you” a couple times during the day….ya it’s that bad.

We dream of: oh at this point we dream about pretty much anything…our own house, our future careers, our future children (they are going to be the coolest, smartest, most obedient children that love spending time with their cool parents 😉 ), our future travels….and pretty much anything in the future we’d like to do. It’s a pretty blank book at this point in our lives, and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
