Squabbles and making-up

Today at church an elderly member of our congregation shared his testimony. He’s recently been diagnosed with quickly progressing liver cancer; and he asked to share a final testimony.

IMG_3879He shared a very honest reflection on his life, but also shared that in all his 88 years he didn’t have any regrets. He admitted he wasn’t perfect and  he fought and squabbled lots with his wife; but that the fighting and squabbling was worth it because you got to make up 😉

It was a tender testimony that me snuggle up a little closer to T. It made me hope and pray that someday we can look back on our life together and remember how great making-up is.

I sure do love his this hubby of mine and sometimes I feel too happy to believe it’s true.
