Squabbles and making-up

Today at church an elderly member of our congregation shared his testimony. He’s recently been diagnosed with quickly progressing liver cancer; and he asked to share a final testimony.

IMG_3879He shared a very honest reflection on his life, but also shared that in all his 88 years he didn’t have any regrets. He admitted he wasn’t perfect and Β he fought and squabbled lots with his wife; but that the fighting and squabbling was worth it because you got to make up πŸ˜‰

It was a tender testimony that me snuggle up a little closer to T. It made me hope and pray that someday we can look back on our life together and remember how great making-up is.

I sure do love his this hubby of mine and sometimes I feel too happy to believe it’s true.
